It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you of my decision to leave the Parlor salon, effective July 1st, and focus full time on school. I knew this day would come eventually but due to my schedule for the 18-19 school year, its coming a little sooner than I thought. As many of you know, I had to take 16 credits this semester to satisfy my scholarship requirements of graduating on time (as a reference, 12 credits makes you a full time student). I had hoped that this would be the only semester that I would have to take such a heavy load, but it looks like Ill have to take 16 credits again next semester, as the classes I need for my senior year aren't offered in the summer. Not to mention, the internship opportunities I would like to pursue are going to require a flexibility that being tied to my monthly booth rent wont allow for. Another pitfall I was hoping to avoid by not having to take 16 credits. I want to thank you all for being a part of my life and my journey, not just these last 4 years but since the beginning when I was just a 24-year-old kid working at a hip new salon on Haywood road and trying to figure out who I really wanted to be when I grew up. It has been my joy and my pleasure to serve you these last 12 years, and I hope to run into you somewhere out and about in our beautiful little city. Lastly, I would like to include here a list of stylists that I recommend. Thank you all,Tiziana The Parlorhttps://www.vagaro.com/theparlor25 First of all, ya'll, just go see someone else at the salon I work at!! You can self book from their website just like you do with me because we both use Vagaro. So, so easy. Now, not all of the stylists are accepting new clients but Blue, Jenn, and Jill are. Go see one of them! They are all amazing!!Beauty Parade783 Haywood road(828)257-4073Ahh, the old standby! And super convenient for those of you that live on the West Side. I have spoken with Terra recently and she has an AMAZING team over there, including my wonderful friend Katie Fisher. Katie is a color expert and I couldn't recommend her enough. Willows Dreamhttps://www.vagaro.com/ashevillesalonThis is how you can book my good friends Danielle and Greg whom I worked with for years both down in the River Arts District and Downtown. Downtown is often more convenient for many of you who pop in on your lunch breaks from work, so if thats you I highly recommend going to see either of them. Danielle and I both learned our scissor over comb technique from Greg, so this is the stop for you if youre looking for one of those really tight fades that I do.
