He started his career at the Masters in Huntsville, AL, training under top industry talents Gary and Ann Bray. After finishing school he moved in to a full time position at Classic Creations Salon to work in the family business. His next move was working on the first U. S. education team for Rusk. With this position, he had the honor of working events with Irvine Rusk and providing top education to stylists. In 1998 Troy changed paths and went to work with Redken to become an educator. In this journey he has worked full time as a salon specialist and then back to the Redken artist network. Working along side top artist Ann Mincey, Sam Villa, Chris Baron, Kris Sorbie and many others as part of the Redken family. He has worked events all over the U.S. such as Redken Symposium, Focus, in Orlando, FL and Chicago, IL. He continues to travel around the US facilitating seminars and directing hair shows. He also worked at the Redken Exchange with the Redken Color Certification team in New York City, where other salon professionals come to become Redken certified Colorists.
