Conditioning Treatment: A formula that is designed to restore proteins and moisture in the hair. Often the client will wear a cap and be placed under a dryer for 10-20 minutes to increase the speed of penetration.

Process: The process will differ depending on the up-do, but most will require products that increase control. To add extra flare to the style, ornamental flowers or clips may be added.

Thermal Straighter: A chemical process used for straightening curly hair that is difficult to manage. Thermal straightening works best for clients that have not previously used chemical solutions on their hair. This technique last for approximately six months to one year.

Process: First a deep conditioner along with a chemical relaxer is applied to the hair. Heat is then used to alter the structural bonds to create straight and easy to manage hair.

Process: A chemical solution is applied into dry hair after it has been separated into sections. The solution will then be combed throughout the hair without overlapping the same sections. Once it has been allowed to settle for the prescribed time period, the chemical will be rinsed out using warm water and a neutralizing shampoo that will restore the natural pH balance.
